Practice Management

Agneta Hopkin (f)

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Administration

Our administration team consists of five practice administrators/summarising clerk and seven receptionists. The reception staff try at all times to be as helpful to patients as possible. Please help them by being courteous and understanding that if you are asked any questions with regard to your medical condition, they are only carrying out our policies which are aimed at directing patients in the most appropriate way and towards providing a better service for patients. Receptionists provide an important link for patients within the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and test results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make the most of patient appointments with the GPs and Nursing Team and also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries along with other administration duties.
